This month we are pleased to be reviewing the ethical online baby store FairBabie. I remember when I was pregnant with my eldest, Jacob, there were lots of comments like “oh I bet you’re hoping for a girl so you can buy all the pretty clothes”. Well for me that wasn’t the case. All I wanted was a boy, for lots of reasons really; but when it came to ‘dressing them up’ I’ve always loved boys’ clothes and have found them just as exciting and varied as girls’ clothes. If you know where to look, that is…
Now I have two boys and my love of children’s clothing has only got stronger. I’m forever looking for new clothing brands to dress my boys up in.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love girls’ clothes; and luckily for me I have friends with daughters, so I still get to look at and buy lovely clothes for them, when my bank account permits me ;)
I’ve heard lots of people complain that mainstream and high street clothes shops just don’t cater for little boys’ clothes as well as they do for girls. And I have to agree.
So I decided to start looking online for organic boys’ clothes, and I suddenly discovered a whole beautiful varied world of interesting and colourful clothing!
I now have quite a large arsenal of favourite clothing brands, whose websites are always the first thing on my mind come pay day.
But not just that – being a crafter and WAHM (work at home mum) myself, I’ve also discovered the beauty of handmade WAHM clothes. There’s nothing quite like knowing that an item of clothing your baby is wearing was made especially for them, and sometimes are one of a kind :) WAHM clothes cater to your taste better than any big brand can; and so I will always have a special place in my heart for WAHM clothes.
This week I’m going to be writing about a fantastic little WAHM business called Kinder Feet. This fab shop, run by WAHM Evi Temple makes and sells ethical and environmentally friendly clothes and shoes for children. This month Nicolas and I have been very lucky to be able to test out a pair of beautiful […]
This week I’ll be writing about one of my absolute favourite clothing brands Little Green radicals and reviewing two beautiful outfits from their new AW16 collection. As long as I’ve been a mother I have had a real love for the Little Green Radicals brand, so I’m really excited to be able to write about […]
The Wonderful Creations of Caboodle Kids This week I thought I’d write about the beautiful creations from Caboodle Kids. Caboodle Kids is a WAHM (work at home mum) business that sells beautiful hand-made children’s clothing. The clothing range that Caboodle Kids supplies is wonderful. There are ready to buy stock items and also a section […]
